Just for future reference if you sell a handgun to another individual in missouri what is the proper procedures to do so.  I have the gun registered in my name how would I get it out of my name. Any help on this situation would be greatly appreciated

Buyer goes to his sheriff and applies for permit.  Pays and receives permit x days later (Sheriff Toelke usually had mine in 5 days).  Buyer has 30 days to use permit.  Buyer gives you permit when receiving pistol.  You then have to return permit to their sheriff in 30 days with buyer and pistol information filled out.
