Hey guys, my dad is filling out the paperwork for a fall deer hunt and he wants to hit units 36B or 35B.  He was in that area many years ago and he wants an excuse to go back.  My questions are, are these decent hunting areas, and are they safe for hunters to actually be in as they are right on the border?

Thanks!

I'd probably stay away from 36B (prob one of the busiest smuggling areas in the state) but 35B isn't too bad. I've had success there before.
I camped down there last year with a friend but if you're by yourself I'd prob camp somewhere further north and get up in the morning and hunt down south.
There's less tonks around when its cold so the "traffic" will be a little better around that time of year but you still gotta watch your back down there.
Especially if you leave your truck to go hunt. Don't wanna get jumped when you get back to it for your keys.
