If you have one post a pic Please.
I have my first 3gun tomorrow and in order to run 30 round mags I need a featureless rifle. My friends are bringing the parts I need to run the course but I would like to see what everyone else is running. Thanks. |

Just got home
Thanks for your post Paul. I did get to see first hand some of the featureless rifles The grip is all kinds of fucked up but I have to live with it. Personally I think it makes the rifle just awkward enough to be unsafe. Anyway for my first one I wasn't bad at all. Not last place more middle of the pack. Soon to improve O it was fucking awesome |

I've used both the MonsterMan and a wrap on my rifles before. Both aren't "that" bad. I have a "gamekeepers' thumb" injury on my right hand - think taking your thumb and rotating it back about 2 inches too far ... so keeping my thumb along side my index finger isn't bad. Holding my pistol grip rifles too long can cause me pain after awhile. http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m168/AR-15_Paul/Rifles/MonsterManGrip.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m168/AR-15_Paul/Rifles/GettingThereStepFour_zpse9d32fc3.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m168/AR-15_Paul/Rifles/SolarTacticalGrip_zps683cb310.jpg I go back-n-forth with some of my rifles using bullet buttons sometimes and non-pistol grips others. There are a number of muzzle brakes that are very effective and between choosing between flash suppression and muzzle jump suppression I'll always choose muzzle jump. What kind of brakes? |

So...you know that featureless rifles allow you to have a magazine release...not to shoot 30-round mags, which is a whole 'nother issue...right?
If you can't have those mags--legally under CA law--your featureless rifle just allows you to drop 10-rounders at the push of a button. More than likely, you're aware of this...but I want to mention it in case somebody who isn't aware reads this thread. |

I'm not trying to rain on your parade--I'm just wanting to make sure you got all the facts. The only point of a "featureless rifle" is solely so one can use the mag release as it was designed, period...NOT to use hi-cap mags. Just wanted to make sure that you were aware of the difference. |
