Im moving to a new house next month and want to build a privacy fence in the back yard. Does anyone have recommendations or experience with local fence companies in the Alpharetta area? Thanks

You can save a good bit and build it yourself over a few weekends. Some 4x4s, 2x4s and 1x6 dog ear 6' pickets are all the wood you need plus a dozen or so bags of concrete and some deckmate screws.  I built mine over the course of two weekends and it was a breeze for me as a novice at the time.

Summit Fence, Lee Tuck, 770-334-6964.  Very pro 2A.  Tell him the "Williams Towne HOA solar pool driveway gate" sent you.

Its a 2 day job for up to 200' or so and the savings will pay for a nail gun and a compressor.

Fence guy nonetheless

I just did 150 ft of metal fence. Got it on Craigslist. ( mistake) and installed myself with a post hole digger. Needless to say wasn't fun but worth the savings. $1300 vs $8500

OP, I had a nice fence put up by Chris at American Outdoor Living 4 months ago. His crew did quality work about 20% cheaper than other quote plus I've used him for other landscaping projects so I knew the level of work to expect.

If you want his info, IM me.

I need to see if what remains of my fence is worth listing...  had a tree service remove some trees and while I was able to drop some sections before they got to work, and told them they could drop the rest, some of it got mangled.  May just need to haul it to a recycling place, even though I doubt it's worth the gas...
