Hey guys I was just wondering what I would need to do about transfering the shotgun my gf bought me over to my name. Just thought some of you here might know. Thanks for any help.

Does he live in TN? If so, nothing.

TN does not register firearms. Since she bought you the shotgun as a gift, she simply gives you the gift and its yours to keep.

Ok thanks. We both live in Tennesse and I just wasn't sure if anything needed to be done.

Nice to have a firearm that is not on anyone's radar. What they don't know can't hurt me.

You might just want a simple handwritten transfer of ownership just in case you all broke up and she wanted it back. Nothing formal, Her transferring it to you and a description of gun including SN. It doesn't need to be recorded anywhere.
