For anyone that is interested, there are adult education classes being offered through Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah. They are taught by local police firearms instructors and cover safe handling, sighting in, tactics, and laws. There is much range time involved and they're good classes for anyone who has a CCW permit or otherwise owns self defense (offense) guns. You can contact Wynn Sullivan at 921-5754 (Director for Professional and Continuing Education) for registration. You don't have to be a student at AASU. There are 3 levels (Basic, Intermediate, & Advanced) and the registration fee is only $35.00 per class. I know that May classes are open, and you may still be able to get into classes in April.
