I like it too, have a flat that needs bent , have no clue what to do with it or how too. ![]() you slap it into a flat bending jig, then that into a press and press it into a U shape, take a hammer and fold over the top rails, then trim with a dremel tool w/ cutoff wheel and finish fit with a file; then there's a bit more assembly and genuine bullet waster ETA: hey bandit, paint it green so's it'll be environmentaly friendly |

ETA: hey bandit, paint it green so's it'll be environmentaly friendly I have OD Green, Tan, and Black. I'm not sure which way I am going to go. I was thinking Tan, with the safety, bolt carrier, folder, and pistol grip Black, with some black plastic Hand Guards, or OD Green, and the same stuff Black, or Black, and stain the Factory Hand Guards Dark Red, like the Russian stuff. Hell I don't know
What do you guy's think ? Edited for spelling |
If it ain't black, it ain't an AK!!!!!!
I've built a hell of a lot of them and I honestly think black is the only way to go. Now Ndenway built one and has it OD green and it looks pretty good. But the thing about paint is, you can change the color of the gun pretty easy! |

What do you guy's think ? Edited for spelling I painted a polish side folder OD green with black trim pieces (safety, muzzle device, stock, sights), left the wood forestock with the dark reddish/purple stain it has; it looks pretty decent painted up that way. |
