First kill of 2011 > Arizona

Got my first scorpion kill of the year today. The little bugger was trying to blend in with the poop in the cat box. I guess he did not get the memo that bark scorpion camo does not work well in a cat box. Time to fire up the blacklight and get some more. Kind of odd to have scorpion activity this early in the year?

I tried to get a pic of the scorpion that I killed in the box of cat poop,but it came out..........sh1tty.

Awful early in the year to have to be on the look out for these little beasties. I hope it's only a fluke and not an omen of things to come this year.

Today, I sprayed the perimeter of the house and the fence line with Cyper, though I haven't found any in the house for several months. I did find a sowbug inside aa few days ago (potential scorp food).

I thought it was early, but I have four in a jar from the last couple of months. I stab them with an icepick and put them in a bottle of alcohol. Let the little bastards see how it feels!
