AR-15 with 10.5" inch barrel and appropriate length brake to make legal limit is what I'm interested in. Have there been any made? The law apparently allows for an LBR to be under the required OAL whilst having the brace replaced with one of those counterbalance rods, so would it be legally possible to shorten a rifle barrel and add the brake? There were a few shotguns that had extensions added, but I think those were done before the new laws were brought in during the late 80's?

Thanks.

Yes I would think it is possible. There was a chap (West mids RFD?? Perhaps Mr.????? Price?) doing similar to GSG's by pinning a SAK mod on the end of what must have wound up being about a 7" barrel.

Can only be done by a RFD
