Hello, thanks in advance for your help. I read in the pinned CA firearms law thread that complete AR 15 uppers are considered as "parts" and thus can be shipped to a resident. However, If the upper is threaded for, and has attached, an A2 Flash Hider, doesn't such make it illegal to possess under CA law despite being "parts"?? |

There are plenty of registered lowers that can accept any configuration of upper. Once its registered as an assault weapon, it can have all the evil features. BTW, a threaded barrel is not an evil feature, just a flash hider attached to those threads. If the buyer were to install a muzzle brake, it would be fine to install on an off-list lower. |
It would also be fine to install it, with a flash hider, on an off list lower w/ a fixed magazine |
