I used to rent a house a few miles from there. It was always interesting in the spring, our driveway washed out a few times before they put in a huge culvert.  We moved bought a house nearer to the lake and out of the hills. So much less hassle and being on sand instead of clay is so nice.  We didn't really think about how much easier it would be when we bought here but we were tired of the winter commute through the mountains. In the winter we would lose power all the time now hardly ever.





My coworker/neighbor was at rock band practice in Jericho at the start of the flooding said it took him 3 hours to find a way home. He tried weed road but ran into what you saw in the article pics.
