So, if you think the price for an item is unreasonable or you just don't like competition, just flag the ad and it's immediately deleted.
I've placed five ammo ads (over the last two days) and every one of them has been deleted within minutes. I dropped the price on the sixth ad, and of course, it survived first contact. This leads me to believe flagged ads are not being reviewed by admin (or the admin is an asshole). At a minimum, the flagged ad should be reviewed by admin and notification sent detailing why the ad was deleted. Rant off (and back to Gun Broker)... |
| I've never had an issue with FGT, yes it can be sketchy and I'd prefer to use the EE but FGT has produced results. I've sold a few cases of steel .223 over the past months on FGT for $250 each and they usually sell within a day or two and I've never had an ad deleted. |
| Yeah, that site is a pain in the ass to deal with. Im not sure who runs it but they are a fucking tard. They actually had porn advertising for a short while. And it seems like 98% are either wanna be(aka unlicensed) gun brokers selling used guns for more than retail or a bunch of cry baby fucks that try and trade a hipoint for your glock and then get insulting when you say no. |

You can't help the users that sign up that are POS, but the moderator needs to run his site and not just let it collect fees. |

I have made some very good deals on that website, both sales, trades, and purchases. The most irritating thing is the ones who post the same thing 4-5 times a day and flood all the first pages with their ad. It gets old seeing the same overpriced DPMS for $1500 or .223/5.56/9mm for .75 a round, and they wonder why they haven't had any interest for 2 weeks. If you place an ad for a fair price, most likely it will be sold within the first day.
There are some real dirt bags that use that website as well . I had a few people e-mail me about an M&P I was selling, one of the person's name was in his e-mail, just a simple Google of him showed a nice big mug shot on the first page for a felony domestic, just have to be careful who you deal with. |

You don't have to post outrageous prices to have it deleted.You just have to have any 2 of the self appointed price police flag your ad and it's automatically deleted.I've gotten some good deals but there is absolutely no moderator regulation.Anybody can have ads deleted,ads are regularly stomped on and lots of scammers are starting to show up. |

I listed a save queen eotech 512 for 350, PSA MOE lower build kit still in the wrapper for 200, now 180 (only trying to recoup actual cost) and a glock package that has a bunch of shit and upgrades(more than I care to list hereincluding 15 mags) for 900 (again, its a package, not just a standard glock and 2 mags for 900) |
