easter candy has to be some of the nastiest seasonal candy. Peeps. marshmallow eggs, creme filled eggs. although I did like the carmel filled cadburys. Ill have to see the new "reduced calorie" size

They figured prominently on an ABC news item about the latest marketing tactic of giving less for the same money. When I first started eating Cadbury Cream Eggs (a long, long time a go, in England) they were the size of a hen's egg. Now they are rapidly approaching the size of a robin's egg. Next they will take them off the market, "because they don't seem to sell well" and not understand why! ETA: Check out the Wikipedia entry. Its only the US ones that are shrinking. Looks like we will need to organize a group buy, and send someone to Canada to buy a few hundred of them. |
