Is anyone already set up and running the software to form a trust in metro Atlanta? Let me start by saying that I am not ready right now to initiate the process of getting a suppresser. But I am ready to start looking into it. I know a few members here were talking about getting the program and starting to do it for a small fee. I am just trying to see if anyone is up and running with successful results. Also who are the local suppressor dealers? Do they need to be involved in me filling out the trust paper work? I know this is all basic stuff but I don’t know it yet, so thanks for putting up with it. Dana PS for a .22 is there any brand can that i should go with? |
| I would get last years version of Quicken Willmaker off E-Bay for around $8-$9. As far as what brand of suppressor you should go with, all I will say is go with a reputable MFG that will still be around in 5-10 years in case you need it to be serviced. I would talk to Mark, a.k.a. Bookhound, about purchasing your suppressor. |

Welcome to the addicting world of Class III. For all of those needs, contact Bookhound or AllenPSI on the board here, they are the best and will get you taken care of. For your trust: Setting up a trust for NFA itmes There is some good reading in that thread, but it all boils down to you going to Staples (or Office max/ Depot), buying the program, and punching the keys. It's easy! |
You can have two members of a trust. With a company, LLC or Corp, you can have more than two but then you have yearly fees. |

So what is the first step? Setting up a trust? does it matter if i set up the trust and then wait a year or so untill i buy the can? What about if i move (but stay in GA) between the time i set up the trust and buy the can, does this matter? does anyone have contact info for Marc/Allen? I know i have had it before but as always i misplace it. If you could IM me that would be great. |
And buy your products from PSI as well. Mark helped me set up a trust and I will only buy class 3 from him, not only for price, but as appreciation for helping me out. |
