Went to the show this morning. Typical show. There were some OK deals. Saw some Galils bult by Century for $999. This rifle was a nice package. AR showing was pretty moderate with some OK deals but nothing to get excited about IMO. AK showing was terrible. Saw a romanian AK-74 in poor condition for around $700; too much money. Lots of samari swords, throwing stars and airsoft junk. Picked up a 1000 round case of WOLF 5.45x39 for $160 out the door. OK deal for current market and being non-corrosive. Can't wait for a PA gun show. |
| Are PA worth the drive? I've never been to one I dropped into the Frederick show after work today around 4. The 7.62x39 wolf was tempting, but I didn't bring any serious cash with me. Picked up 15 stripper clips for the mosin and was out the door. One thing that did suprise me is that the "assault weapons" didn't need a waiting period. I guess that comes into play with out of state FFL's? |

I went there with one purpose in mind, to find some surplus 7.62 NATO. I found it at 2 different tables. 1 guy had it for $60 for 140 the other guy had it for $70 for 140 rnds. My buddy said he would sell me the same quantity for $30. I did make a trade. I traded my S&W Sigma 9mm & Ruger SP101 .357 for a used Springfield Compact Ported 1911. |
