Just got done with the 4 day defensive handgun course at Front Sight.  I was very impressed with the place.

Anybody else have any good or bad experiences out there?

I had a positive experience with the 4-day defensive handgun. Planning on going back for the 4-day practical rifle course.

I'm a member, been there lots of times. Enjoyed every one and picked something up every time. Did the Advanced Tactical Handgun last weekend - loads of fun.

I am a member.  Became one after becoming a distinguished graduate from the 4-day defensive pistol class (by using a trasferable certificate I bought online).  I was also there this past weekend for the 4-day practical rifle class.  I learned a lot.  Planning on doing the 4-day practical shotgun course in December before I start moving forward with the handgun skillbuilder, advanced tactical handgun, and night handgun courses, before doing the handgun combat master prep.

I would highly recommend going to do a course with a friend or family member using one of their trasferable certificates.  Or, check ebay and see if you can pick one up cheap.  You won't be disappointed and will probably want to become a member after that.  If not, at least you got to participate in a good course for a bargain price.

Oh, and for us Vegas/Henderson residents, it is twice as nice because unlike all the hundreds of people travelling to Front Sight every weekend from other states (who have to pay for airfare and lodging), all we have to do is get in our vehicles for 45 minutes to an hour each way (maybe even carpool).  No plane ticket, no hotel, no restaurants, no issues with transporting weapons or ammo.  Hell, we can even pack our own lunch each day from the fridge at home and use the microwaves at Front Sight during lunch...

The certificates are absolutely the way to go.
