Need help with removal of the front sight block on a Bushy. Changing the current free float to a YHM free float. Anyone in the Chas. area with the proper tools?
Thanks for any help.

the last time I took a FSB off a bushy.I learned 12 new swear words.........IMO bushys are rough, even after locking it up in vice blocks, and using rubber mallets,I had to switch to a large hunk of brass and a BFH,then I lost the blocks, added heat, cussed alot ,and beat the living shit out of it.....if you try it and find yourself in trouble......STOP before you break something............JMO

BUT BACK TO YOUR QUESTION................someone close should come along and offer some local help................

I agreecompletely with the previous reply get someone with the proper experiance and tooling. If you try to drive out a taper pin in the wrong direction you can make a big mess on the barrel.
If you need some phone guidance give me a call.
