Starting today, Sharpshooters in Roswell is going to start renting the Kriss Super V full auto submachine gun at their range. It will be $30 for the rental, plus ammo. I have shot these before at some law enforcement demos and they are a lot of fun.
Just a heads up in case you have money to burn, and an itch to destroy some zombie targets. |

sheese. shooting one is just gonna make me want one.
question, what do you get to shoot at? back in the day, there was a place in marietta, i think it was called the bullet stop. guy eventually got in trouble with the atf for something i cant remember, had an armored car parked out front. on sandtown road i think. i went in there and shot a hk converted to mp5sd (i think that was what it was) this is pre-86 and you could buy stuff there. still regret not paying just under 2k for a mp5 in some configuration but in those days i didnt have the money.. the reason i bring this up was, you could shoot at paper or bowling pins. i shot pins. it was a blast. paper would have been less interesting i think... so .. what can you shoot at at this this new place? |

I have shot at the range only a few times. The targets are paper and cardboard. They also have a tactical range that has turning targets that spin and go in and out. But no pins, or solid objects on the range. They do have a FATS type training system that shoots lasers, but that isn't used with the Kriss.
I shot the Kriss V suppressed and the non-suppressed version before and even though it was just at paper, it made me do the happy dance. 30 rounds of 45 ACP in a couple of seconds is still a lot of fun! |
