| Greetings. Has anyone seen a G30SF in town that I can check out? Preferably they'd have a G30 and G36 to compare also. |
|
I recently had a hell of a time finding a G30. I wasn't even looking for a G30sf, I have big hands and I have read there isn't much of a difference between it and the G30sf anyway. I ended up finding it at Discount Firearms. If you find all 3 at A.S.S., you will need to beg someone to wait on you. |
I've called AE on a previous occasion on a blue label G19 and the answer was the same: On order - We don't even know what will be in the next shipment - Check back with us. I went with Master Shooter's Supply - who ordered it from Davidsons in Arizona.

I called Glock LE the other day and asked about the G30SF. I confirmed that they will go for the LE / MIL price (same as the G30 LE price). The lady was very helpful and said "here, call the Western US Regional Manager...", and she passed his name and number. I called and said I was looking for a G30SF in Las Vegas and there were none to be found. He also was very helpful and checked his computer and said the AZ LE dealer that Master Shooter's Supply (MSS) usually deals with has their 2 G30SFs at the CA warehouse. He then proceeds to find 11 30SFs in Spokane WA, at Gunerama Wholesale. He gives me the number of a point of contact there and says that they don't normally deal with Las Vegas NV dealers, but to tell them to call him and he'll authorize the sale. I also call Floyd at MSS and let him know what's going on. I call back and he is getting the paperwork to add Gunerama to their dealers list. I get a call from Gunerama confirming what kind of sights I want. Nice to have a distributor call "you" to get your order right. I'm in the short strokes right now to getting my hands on one. Oh and the Western U.S. Regional Manager said Glock is 69k behind in production / backorders. Normal OK plant output is 30k / month, so they are 2 months behind. |
