Amazing event as always!

Thanks for putting this on GAHunter95!

Thank you to the organizers, sponsors and volunteers! It takes all of you to make this event great year after year.

It’s amazing to see how the competition has changed over the past 6-7years. Back then, if you got into the 0.5x MOA range, it meant you had a chance for first place. This year, the top 10 were below 0.6moa, with 6 of the top 10 going into the 0.4 moa range or better. That is impressive!

Great time.

I want to remind anyone that picked up prizes or swag-part of the deal is you need to reach out to the sponsor, thank them , message them on Facebook, send a photo, etc. We are blessed with a lot of generosity from these folks. They know who we are and what the match is. They don’t think 500 people are attending or elite shooters etc. they like that we are real, improving, and inviting new people to try it out. Please share that back so next year we continue to get rewarded.

Stiff competition this year.  For anyone wondering, this is what the second place target looks like

Impressive shooting!! Hard to believe we had 3 shooters to go into the 0.3’s this year.

Pic dump…

Seeing my daughter perform well was the highlight of the event for me. Seeing Southerncross in his “inspector” shirt was a close second!

Outside of getting a good lot, there’s some luck involved in rimfire.

I wish I had told her to foul the barrel before the first group. That was the CZ that needs a new home, so I’m not sure what ammo had been fired in it previously. Once it settled in, it shot very well.

OK... I'm finally home from MOA.  I haven't unpacked yet or looked at the stats, but I will do so soon.  probably.

Thanks for coming out and trying out the challenge.  Thanks for helping setup / tear down / RO'ing / measuring targets / cooking and donating funds.  It is all appreciated!

It was a great day of shooting with some truly impressive scores!  And then there were my efforts.    Note to self... do not try to do trigger work the night before the event.  I'm on trigger #3 in the 22 and still at 2.5#  Maybe I'll retire the 77/22 and dust off the cz and see what it can do.

If anyone needs their target - I have the leftovers.

Please go on social media, post your pics and targets, and tag the sponsors... all of them

If you start any threads on arf in the industry section, put up a link here.

If you have any questions about sponsors... RobP is the man to reach out to.

It's not even a week after the event and I am already thinking about MOA 11.  I'll post the dates when the vacation days are picked for next year, but early October is the target.

I'll work on an AAR with tips for next year in a separate post.  Please please please give us feedback.  What worked well as well as what was a dumb idea.  We do try to improve it every year, but don't ask for a hot lunch.
