Okay, it looks like June 24, at the Madison Range is good with all that have posted in the other thread. I am thinking from about 10:00 AM til the last one of us leaves to be the time frame. I would appreciate anyone who is planning to attend posting on the new thread so I know how many to expect. I intend on providing burgers and hot dogs to everyone there, so a final number will come in handy once we get closer to the shoot. If other folks could bring drinks (I am fairly sure that adult beverages are not allowed), chips, potato salad, etc... it would be much appreciated. If you can help out with that sort of stuff, just say so in your reply. It would also help me greatly if someone could bring a grill to the range. Gas charcoal, it doesn't matter to me. And if someone has some sort of an awning or cover that would be nice, otherwise I'll just string up a tarp. I would also like to get a final number to see if maybe I could get the parking area open if there are going to be a large number of cars. I'll make that decision a little further down the road. If anyone has any other ideas, please either post them in the new thread or IM or E-Mail me. I will IM directions to the Madison range once it get closer to the date so just include in you post if you need directions and from where you are coming from. I hope to see all that can make it out! You are all welcome to come out with us, from the lurker's to the 27 posts a day guys, I really want to see you all there(that includes any of you South Carolinians that read this forum, but no one from Alabama, that is just going to far( just joking you guys are welcome too). |
I'll be there mate, going to need some directions though... I also don't mind brining a few 2 liters of coke, dr. pepper, ect. and if you need any help, to quote my dad every time we are at the range "you're 17, you're young, you're in alright shape, and I'm lazy...You go change the targets..."  So I am fine with helping out with what ever need be doing... See ya there! Side note here... But what kind of range is this... it isn't one of those sucky "5 second pause between shot" ranges is it? is it a green range? cause I plan on shooting wolf...and LOTS of it... |
Usually I can get by on Sundays though.

I'll be there. Just let me know what needs to be done to pitch in. If need be I've got the grill, although it is gonna be a pain in the ass to get it up and down the hill. I will also pitch in a 12 pack of cokes and a 12 pack of diet cokes for those of us that need it. And whats this about no Alabamians. |

Paranoid much?  Just thought it would be nice to meet a few of the guys whose posts I have been reading for the last few years and maybe talk some bidness wit ya if you are still in the FFL game and if'n you sell something that I need. |

sheesh talk about paranoid...haha...anyway, ok Here's a quick question for ya'll... I'm only 18, but i have a nice and sort of new USPc my dad bought me... it's legal for me to have it if i'm going to a range (I don't feel like pulling up all the codes/laws ect) but ya'll aren't going to make a big fuss about me bringing it are you? I really need to shoot it some more. I need practice. ETA: all your page 3 am belong to me now! |
Actually it is legal for you to own a pistol at 18. You just can't purchase one from a licensed dealer at 18. IIRC, You can actually build a SBR at 18. There was a guy on here that just built an SBR at 18 and the ATF approved it. ETA: NFA at 18 Thread |
Not paranoid at all. Im still in the FFL game but I can't seem to keep any lowers in stock. I've got about 300 on order and I have 0 in stock (except for the one that is going to be mine). |
