There are a few islolated spots way back in there. Weekday afternoons can be empty out there. Mostly I go to (what I know as) Sugarloaf. Its directly across from Four Peaks. There's a mini-mountain there that kinda looks like a sugarloaf, sort of. If you know the way, you can 4x4 your way between Sycamore and Sugarloaf without getting on the BeeLine. Takes a while to off-road it and its almost impossible to avoid some scratches, but its a fun route. Just remeber to HAUL OUT YOUR TRASH. I'm fearful that those areas are going to get shutdown someday. A few of the best spots are starting to look like trash dumps. Really. |
