I live just north of Palm Bay. We have 1 indoor range in Melbourne, another couple over in Titusville. There is a private gun club called Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club in Malabar. As far as schools go i can attest to the colleges. In Melbourne we have Brevard Community College (just another community college), University of Central Florida is in Cocoa (overcrowded), and last but not least is Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne (very nice - private EXPENSIVE college). | The on i live in is small, quiet, but deed restricted. They have all sorts of BS rules and regs. Neighborhoods pretty go from one extreme to another. We have the low end neighborhoods and the neighborhoods containing multi-million dollar homes (i'm in the middle somewhere - lol). It all depends on where you go and what you can afford. From Melbourne North we can see the launches out of Cape Canaveral. Always a plus. If you move near the Pineda Causeway area or Satellite Beach then you have an AFB (lots of loud planes flying over). |
