They had me terribly worried during the last 5 minutes, but they held on!!!!! GO DAWGS!!!!!! |
So jus t a little view from somone who had to wait to see the game. So last night I had night shift, which I went in at 1630 and did not get off till 2400. So all durning the shift I had the radio off and told all of my friends including my wife to not send me messages about the score. So I wait like a good fan untill I get off one hell of a sat night. So I come home, kiss my wife so she can goto sleep. And I turn on the game which I on my dvr in HD . And I begin to watch the game like all my other ones. With a vodka and mountain dew, with a pinch of dip for later. I watch the game get mad, throw the remote, and so on just like any other dawgs fan out there who bleeds red and sliver (black with the ne jerseys). So the first half is done and I am like ok here were go another repeat of last year. So I fast forward to the second half. O which let me say this the clock crew and the officals needed to be shot about the whole clock bullsh%t . So now comes the second half and as any other fan would know UGA has the tendency to be a second half team. So I watch getting mad at out tight end who can't catch herpies off of a crack whore drop everything his way. So on and so on. ANd then comes the fourth, I am still watching thinking "DAMN they could beat us again!" And uga has the wonderful 77 yard kick. Fine job sir cheers to you. So then as you all know the Gamecocks get the ball with like 4 or so mins left in the quarter. They are driving, driving, and driving down the field to maybe score the even up/go ahead touchdown/ that is if they went for 2. And I get to the point where there are on like the thirty or so, and one of the beast of a tightend who is a reciever makes the catch and...............MY DVR CUT OFF!!!!! THE DAMN THING STOPPED RECORDING RIGHT THERE!!! i ASK MY WIFE TO GET THE NEXT SHOW RECORDED IN CASE THEY TOOK TOO LONG, AND THAT DIDN'T RECORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    So after freaking out not knowning what happened. And mind you this is at four in the morning! I run to the internet to see what the outcome was and I still almost had a heart attack when I read about how the dawgs had to intercept the ball to end the game. So to make a long story short, lol the dawgs did not play like the number two team in the nation, now granted USC is a good team but come on guys get your stuff together. |

I went to SC for the game and had a great time. Almost had a heat stroke but that comes with the territory. I have 2 things to say. 1. If we play like that against LSU or Florida it'll be like the USC/ohio game yesterday. 2. I used to live in Athens, Ive seen what it is like on a home game. I swear it was like culture shock. When GA looses a home game you better evac the town cause its gonna get bad. We were walking out of the stadium and people were saying good game and offering to take pictures for us. I watched a bit of Arizona State's game this week and they did not look too good either(losing to UNLV). We typically play well on the road (not including Tenn. last year) so I feel good about next weekend. Richt will get the dawgs ready. Oh and go Hokies (beating GT!!!!) Now, if only Miss State could have beaten Auburn... |
