Well it is time to start their own thread, Spartans got it done, with everyone doubting them all year. Rose Bowl Bound! Won every Big Ten game by 10 points or more. I sure wish we could have that Notre Dame game back, we have progressed throughout the season, the Irish have regressed this season. |

What was the over/under for fires in East Lansing? There were multiple fires... And as usual, Cedar Village took the cake. Multiple arrests, but it was in no means a "riot" as some news outlets stated. ETA: EL will be damn near Martial Law for the Rose Bowl. |

Couchs will be endangered if they lose in the Rose Bowl. lol Quoted:

By New years day, there wont be a free couch listing on Craigs list, for a 200 mile radius of Lansing. Pre-Ban Couch panic!!!!!!!!!! Izzo should just talk to the administration, and get an area designated for a massive couch burning demonstration. It's become an unofficial intramural sport anyhow.

Hey, they were outside and it was cold. ![]() Seriously Cedar Village is party central at MSU, when you want a party on just about any night, that is place to find one. No surprise that they congregated there. Good thing when the Rose Bowl happens, campus will be empty, everyone will be home for Xmas Break.

I've got an old couch I need to get rid of....... think they'll charge me with contributing to the delinquency of dumb asses : ) Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Hey!! You take that back!! Those kids are the best and brightest snowflakes EVAR!! They even get trophys for maintaining a 2.3 GPA while stoned to the bejesus, half drunk, and bieng able to hurl a std. Art Van Davenport 20m... It takes DEDICATION MAN!!!
I just know my neighbors kid was in that scrum the other night. Little fucker threw some crazy keggers in high school, and I had to go visit to keep them from trying to jump OUR pond in a ratty old Ford Ranger... Then one year he figured out punching balls and propane/Oxygen and a BB gun. Good kid. Just wilder than he is smart at times. |

I was there for the "civil unrest" in 1998 and 1999. It was nuts.
This seemed different. I listened to the fun unfold on the scanner this time, and it was like the police didn't even think anything was going to happen. They were calling in off duty cops and MSP after the fun already started. If it was me, I would have had ELFD fire up their pumper and throw a nice mist over the crowd. It was pretty cold that night, and no one likes to be wet and cold. Problem solved. |

Michigan is way bigger and has way fewer problems with wins or loses. |

No MSU has almost 49,000 students, whereas UM has just over 37,000. |

4 MSU to #2 in the country? 13-1 record may get them there after their Rose Bowl win over 5 Stanford
3 Alabama just lost so they will fall with 2 losses. If 1 Florida State loses they might switch places with 2 Auburn. If 2 Auburn loses 1 Florida State remains undefeated and MSU 13-1 leap frogs Auburn 12-2. At any rate MSU is probably jumping to 3 after Alabama lost. Unthinkable after seeing games 1 to 4 this season |

I dunno about that.
Sparty's D would stop FSU flat in it's tracks until they were exhausted, but the lack of a solid offense, would not fare well. Auburns D might be just a notch below Spartys, but they definately had a better O. The intangible though, is all there. Those kids have some serious issues with dethroning favorites. It would have been a hell of a game. |
