Hey guys  does anyone else have low signal strength on their GPS?  My Garmin is barely getting 2 bars for the last 2 days.

I remember a few years ago my boat GPS which is also a Garmin had a similar issue.  I updated the firmware and the problem went away.  It could just be your location.  Try doing a complete power shutdown on the unit and go outside so it can re-acquire the SATS again.  If you still continue to have issue call Garmin.  They may recommend you to flash your unit with the latest firmware.

Depending on your location, that section of the GPS constellation may be offline for software and data uploads by the USAF and their sattelite contractors.

Contrary to popular belief, GPS DOES go offline occasionally, but in most cases it's a problem of RECEIVER software being outdated. GPS receiver software goes sour faster than Microsoft's shit.

Air Force is way behind in the maintenance of the satellites, there have been stories about the whole system going down by the end of the year if they don't step up the maintenance.

I saw a huge error in the factory GPS in my Armada for most of the day Last Tuesday. I was wondering if the Gov
added more error in it for some reason.
