i am. i joined life (i am in my 30's though) so it was 320 IIRC on time and i get 1 coupon a year for the rest of my life (or as long as they keep that going). Curious to know what kind of discount we're talking about. I've kicked around the idea of joining, but it seems like the matches are a bit far from my area. |

I joined last year with a 2 yr membership. I used my coupon to buy a G17 to shoot 9mm, because it was cheaper. I paid $425 for it, $20 to ship and $20 at my FFL for the transfer. So $465 for a brand new G17, not too shabby. I also got a buddy to join and we shot at Hallsville last Sept. This year we're shooting the matches in Wichita, Hallsville, & maybe Sparta, Ill. I've got my coupon for this year and I'm thinking G26, so I can shoot the subcompact division. Edit: I got mine through GT Distributors in Texas. Though I didn't check with C&R, I did check a half a dozen other local "Glock Law Enforcement Dealers". Everyone of them acknowledged the GSSF program and then quoted me freakin' retail price on the pistol! So I checked with Glock and they sent me to GT Distributors. It was probably one of the easiest and most pleasant purchases I've ever had buying a firearm. That's where I'll buy my next one from and there a bunch of LGS's I'll never step foot in again. |

You don't need to go through block direct if there is a blue label dealer in your area. C&r in independence is the kc area dealer and stocks blue labels. Yep... And C&R Sales is good people... Best gun shop I've ever been in... I make the 2 hour trip a couple times a month just to check out what they've got in stock. None of the dickish attitudes I've seen at most other gun shops. |
