I took my uncle into Gene Sears this morning to pick up some reloading stuff. My uncle is 85 and a retired OHP. I introduced my uncle to Mr. Sears and they talked about the OHP. Mr. Sears' dad was in the first OHP academy in 1932 and just passed last year. My uncle told him about buying his OHP S&W from Sears back in the 70s.
It was interesting listening to those two gentlemen talk about things in the past.
FWIW, Mr. Sears told me some time ago he used to do about $2 Million a year of business with S&W. They told him if he wanted to continue being an S&W distributor, he was going to have to up his business to $5 Million a year worth of S&W items.
He no longer deals with S&W.

It is El Reno just catty cornered from the loves.  Look for a house with some metal buildings behind it.  That's the place.

The street is Shepard, runs north/south from the 81/old 66 intersection that the Loves sits on. The place is just a bit north, and acroos the street from the Loves, as mentioned. Behind a house, sign and all(as mentioned), hard to find if coming from the south because you pass the house and driveway before you see the sign.

One would think that S&W would be happy that Mr. Sears did $2 Million worth of business. Sounds like they used their model GREED to shoot themselves in the foot.

I have a good friend who works there. I stop by and visit with her from time to time. In 2002 I bought a baby eagle from them for 260 out the door.
