So after  I have seen France here, I think it´s time for Germany.
So any questions  are welcome.
So at least I have something to do till my Ar arrives in April

Welcome to the board Michael.

There's quite a few German members here, you just have to find them

If you get lonely in here, feel free to drop by the UK board any time

Hi,
Yeah I heard of some of them, or talked to some in german forums.
I´m in a waiting period right now, so I won´t post to much.
We have a 1 year waiting period till we can buy  handguns and have them at home.

1st of April hought

There are some folks here who know a lot over those things   and specially AR15.

Welcome to the site I love coming to the "foreign side" of Arf.com. It facinates me to read about the different laws and especially the different equiptment that's available/allowed in different places.
I don't know if I'm saying this right but, Frohle Weihnachts (I was in Germany last year for the Christmas markets, and I LOVED it!!)

Thanks for the christmas greetings and of course I give the christmas greetings and a happy new year back to the arf.com community !

Because there are a lot of US soldiers here in germany and also a lot of AR 15  owners I thought there should be a german subforum here.

Like I said , I´m happy to answer all questions wether they are about local laws or the country or the people, deployment to germany or whatever.

So the waiting period till my AR permission gets a little  shorter

Better start inviting some friends to participate and then you might get your own forum

I surely will. This here should be a kind of "preparation".
To see the acceptance, to warm up a little and then I can post in german forums here is  a german place  or .....

But its difficult. Most germans  rather prefer german forums. I think mostly because of the language, although here  are some which I know. Or better say  from whom I know they are also in the german forums I´m in.
Well there is always the language barrier. I speak english quite well or for a german really good. And even I see  that I´m far from beeing  perfect. So the other people with their school  english ....hinking.gif
They buy at ebay and  are in german forums, sometimes (or actually quite often ) they order in the US but foreign forums ?? No way, or at least not very often.
Don´t ask me why.
Even if they get much more and better inof about the AR or tactical stuff and so on.

But like I said it should be a kind of preparation, getting warm in the whole AR stuff and bringing togehter german and US AR fans.

Aim is  the 1st of April  because I get my clearance for firearm possesion on this date.

I´m starting with a little "promotion tour"  in  our forums  the next couple of days and when I´m back in my shooting club after christmas holidays.

So if it works, fine that´s my contribution to arf.com (+ the membership from next year on )! If it doesn´t, ok, this is gone 30 days after the last post.
