First of all let me state that I have had a 260 rem barrel on order with them for a year.

Anyways, a couple weeks ago I ordered 2 Bcgs and a panther claw in 308

Today I got a ship notification but only for the panther claw which they are charging $20 to ups. The original order had $23 or so total shipping and I assumed it wouldn't ship till all $400 worth of shit was in stock. Now I am paying a big premium on the block for making the mistake of ordering direct.

$20 to ship that shit? A $50 part that can fit in USPS a $12 USPS flate rate box, much less considering they have a contract with a shipper.

have you complained about the barrel in their industry forum?

Looks like they closed their industry forum. They were better do deal with pre Remington.

I know everybody is sold out of everything. Unfortunately that's giving inside sales people am excuse to treat people like shit and pretend like they are too busy to do anything.

Reminds me of the way typical doctors treat u.

Dpms has been like this for the last few years because they have been sold out effectively for years.

If you have a barrel on order for so long, and you still haven't received it, why order anything else from them?

I had a similar problem with another company where most of the stuff I ordered ended up not being in stock and they charged me $12 to ship me a $20 part. Then they refused to respond to my phone calls or email. I contacted my CC company and they took care of it for me.

Dpms was one of a handful of companies that offered dealer pricing to c&r holders. Not sure if they do it anymore.

I still get very good pricing. I am not griping about the wait itself , but I feel like dpms simply loses track of some orders.

As far as I can tell they help you when it is to their advantage. I asked a simple question on their industry forum and they ignored it since it was not something negative only a question.

I wonder where the 3 LPKs I ordered are.  



I have been waiting for months now since I think I ordered them.   My addy should be on file, DPMS.    



(No lower parts kits were actually ordered, yet in the interest of positive public relations will be well received.)
