| Well, I'm sitting around, avoiding packing, drinking a few beers and listening to the radio. SO I decided to vent...... I leave tomorrow evening to go to Camp Grayling for the next 3 weeks for our Annual Training with the 1460th Trans Company. They are actually letting/making me drive a HUMVEE from here in Midland, all the way up there. That doesnt bother me too much, but considering my DUI back in November, I find it kind of amusing; Im a mechanic, in an entire Unit of Truck Drivers..... Go figure... I get back June 20th for 4 days, Then we Ship to Fort Bliss Texas on the 25th, After a send off at the local stadium the night before. And sometime in September, I get to go play in the Sandbox for my second tour. I will actually be volunteering to stay out there for an extra year. Two years total, so that I can get a good chunk of money saved up(NFA is expensive, and so is marrying the most wonderful woman I have ever known, and putting a house over her head) anyway, Just wanted to put all that out there, and I will do what I can to keep you guys updated. Maybe somebody can take me hunting If I get mid tour leave during deer season? Ive lived in Michigan most of my life.... and have never been able to get a deer on my Dad's 15 acres.... Also, people to drink lots and lots of beer with whenever I do get back would be Great. Don't worry, I will pay my tab.... I just want to avoid drinking alone, lol Anyway, take care guys, talk to you later.... |

I'm a veteran myself, but I was drafted. So thanks for volunteering to defend out country and our way of life. When you get over there and get set up, shoot me your address, and I will send a batch of my favorite chocolate chip cookies. Even the al Qaeda would like em, but they only get desert. LEAD and DEAD Stay safe, shoot straight, and keep us updated as what it's like over there from a GI point in view. Not the liberal media's fucked up view.
