So is she going to keep sucking NYC you know what?
I say she votes no on concealed carry |
|
I'll bet she stands tall and votes no (hard to sit down with Schumer's hand up your ass). If she does, she needs one of these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWAvzNHWKQE |

http://gillibrand.senate.gov/newsroom/press/release/?id=4B423443-C49C-4CE7-A2F2-39F8895720F4 Gillibrand Urges Colleagues to Oppose Concealed Carry Amendment July 21, 2009 Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand issued the following statement urging her colleagues to oppose the concealed carry amendment introduced by Senator John Thune of South Dakota, which would undercut a state’s ability to decide who can legally carry a concealed weapon: “I urge my colleagues to oppose this harmful measure and side in favor of law enforcement and state’s rights. I strongly believe that the gun laws that are right for New York are not necessarily right for South Dakota, and vice versa. “It is wrong for the federal government to overrule a state's ability to enact reasonable, constitutional gun laws designed to prevent criminals and other violent and dangerous persons from carrying guns in city streets. “This legislation would move concealed carry permitting to a new national lowest common denominator. Incredibly, this bill would even allow individuals ineligible for a permit in their own state to shop around for lower standards in the many states that offer permits to out-of-state residents, undercutting laws that would otherwise render the applicant ineligible. “I am hopeful that my colleagues will join me and stand up for the safety of our communities.” |

Schumer is a lost cause....but continue to call Gillibrand's office to voice your opinion. Please be polite and courteous.... Just remember this come election time....but whatever the GOP offers may not be much better.... better than what? she's been 100% "f" since she was appointed. nothing even remotely friendly. I will enjoy voting for ANYONE against her. |

Cops on the street are usually for it. |

Any chance we can get Greg Ball to change his mind and run for Senate instead of Congress? As terrible as Gillibrand is, I just don't see any bulls from the GOP stepping up to the plate. Lost cause in a heavily blue state... unless you're a RINO ex-mayor of NYC that is. There are some Republican leaning congressional districts though. |

Fuck that turncoat cunt. She's a Democrat. How is she being a turncoat when she acts like one? What was her NRA rating prior to being made a US Senator? She had an A rating from the NRA due to her congressional voting record (100% pro-gun and mostly conservative) and even received an NRA endorsement over the Republican challenger Sandy Tredwell. She became Schumer's bitch immediately after the senate appointment... I regret voting for the cunt. Turncoats like her and Arlen Specter piss me off. |

She's a Democrat, not an NRA employee. If the NRA stupidly thinks that Democrats have pro-gun principles, that's not her fault. |

Prior to the senate appointment, her only "liberal" votes were for healthcare and education. I'll vote for a pro-gun Democrat before I vote for an anti-gun RINO. |

She received the NRA PVF endorsement in 2008. I can't wait to see what rating she gets in 2010 unless NRA "F" rated Maloney kicks her butt in the primary. http://www.nrapvf.org/ELECTIONS/State.aspx?y=2008&State=NY District 20 (R) SANDY TREADWELL AQ (D) *KIRSTEN GILLIBRAND A A Solidly pro-gun candidate. An "A" incumbent who has supported NRA positions on key votes. May also describe a non-incumbent "A" candidate (one not represented with an *) who has previously held other office and cast consistent pro-gun votes, or an "A" candidate who hasn't held office but has expressed strong support for NRA positions on Second Amendment issues. It should be noted that a "non-incumbent" candidate may have been awarded the "A" rating due solely to their responses on the NRA-PVF candidate survey. AQ (Federal Candidates Only) A pro-gun candidate whose rating is based solely on the candidate’s responses to the 2008 NRA-PVF Candidate Questionnaire and who does not have a voting record on Second Amendment issues. |
