I am trying to get my Gen 4 glock 17 setup for comp use only. I have adjusted and tampered with just about every combination I can come up with. Is there a smith in the metro detroit area that can help me out?  Any help appreciated.

Did you want to stay with stock parts polished up?  Or install factory or aftermaket parts?  Either way these folks can help.

There's not much to the Glock triggers to make them decent - you can get a connector, spring kit, and polish you trigger parts to net out with a roughly 3 lb. trigger.  If you have the skills, the details are out there to drill a new hole in the trigger to make it better and there are aftermarket triggers and and other parts out there too (some better than others).

If you want to spend the bucks, you may want to just go with a Vanek trigger and be done - I think most would say that there are none better, but YMMV...

There's no sense in paying someone to simply swap parts out on a Glock either - unless you like flushing money down the toilet...check out Brian Enos's forum or other online forums for all you could ever want to know about Glock trigger jobs...
