I can not decide weather I want to get a strider knife or a new glock this weekend at the show. Were you given your choice which would you get? I already have pistols but no striders..

Anyone want to buy a glow in the dark AR?

well i don't like glocks.
i have plenty of knives.

it sounds like you have a nice chunk of change to spend so why not invest in yourelf?  take a shooting or tactical class and better learn to use thoes guns you already own.

if you don't like that answer get a Glock.

Why dont you like the glock? I love my USPs but I want another type/brand etc and for the cash I think Glocks are hard to beat. My preference is for 40 S&W but it is not set in stone.

A friend just emailed me to toss the Strider for another microtech as I would be happier. Sheesh no one liked my choices!

i don't like glocks because they have a shitty trigger.  that is the only reason!

they are double action, sloppy and spongy.  i like a single stage trigger with a glass rod break.  no take up and little over travel.

Glocks aren't DA's per se. They are called Safe Action triggers.

When shootings Glocks, you do not necessarily have to return the trigger all the way back. There is a point where the trigger will reset. Makes for great double taps or rapid fire. Also changing disconectors to a lighter one may work also.

But I agree, some folks do not like the Safe Action triggers. Its a matter of personal preferrence. I love my Glocks.

ropes4u, I could bring my Glock22 and you can shoot that after lunch if you'd like. There is an in door range about 20min away.

I have decided to get a refurbed glock 22 or 23 .. I have enough other pistols and if I want glass trigger and superb accuracy you can not beat a STI Edge.. ;o) and I have to meet someone right after lunch - if I can scab out on her for lunch if not you guys will have to live with out me ;o)

For $1700 buck +/- that STI better be a dam good gun. Tell you what ropes. I'll just use the Glock 22 as my carry gun tomorrow. That way if things changes....

BTW is she hot?? Does she have a friend, sister??? Maybe we can all go shoot??

Glocks DA's or safe action it's all the same to me.  i just don't like all the creep or travel in the trigger.  i also don't like the trigger returning to a point somewhere between full reset  it's called safe action it's just not for me.

i like my Kimbers  i have a Ultra CDP and a classic custom.

Nope. But then again ALL gun mfgs have to do it for certain states like MA, CA and MD just to name a few. I believe there are 10 states that requires this.

Yes,
but Glock is doing it for every single gun they make.  Not only that, but they have basicallly told their civilian customers that they don't give a fuck if we like it or not.  They volunteered to the ATF to create a permenant federal gun registry for all Glocks made.
Go ahead and buy your Glock.  At least you know when the gun confiscation starts, your will be first on the list.

I bought a Glock 23, the girl was ok and it turned out to be a waste of my time ;o(

I missed you at the show, well I saw you but I was filling out paper work and decided to wait instead of yelling at you.

Hope to see you all again soon,

John

I liked my edge, and I will get another one sooner or later, it is now gone - I "needed" a sniper rifle.

I have sold my edge and had a siper rifle built. I am now thinking on selling it and a few others to buy a friends Ultra ground pounder. I think the bike is a good deal at $11000, but cant decide if it is worth selling some duplicates or guns I dont shoot.

I bought my last two pistols at Bachman they are decent enough. But they gave me a funny look when I suggested I get a punchcard so my tenth pistol was free ;o)

Thought I'd jump in here to say a few things about my CZ75b...
It is accurate and feels good in the hand.
The trigger action is relatively smooth.
Looks and feels like a Browning Hipower...

LT - If you don't mind I'd like you to look it over(@ hun farm)...  shoot it, and tell me what you think???

Best of all the price($329) is almost half of a Glock or Sig...
I've always been partial to Sigs and thought I'd never find a gun that I enjoyed as much as the Sig, but I'm glad I bought the CZ75...
