I've been a Blues fan for years, but ever since Nashville has had a team, I've cheered for the Preds.

If they were to just throw in the towel and forfeit the rest of the post-season, I'd still call the year a win because they spanked Chicago.

Yup! The amount of butthurt from Chicago fans, especially after them witnessing the carnage that can be wrought at Bridgestone, was delicious.

Great game this afternoon! I'm still ill about Friday since I lost money on both games and stayed up to watch that horrible finish with Edmonton. It sounded like everyone in the sports book had money on the Oilers that night. I think we'll be going to the finals.

I was watching that and figured after the first one they had Gibson back on his heels. After the second they were inside his head. It was just a matter of time.

The Ducks may have physically stronger players, but they're older and slower. I think we'll be okay as long as we don't do what they want (sit in the box).

I think so too. The Ducks played well, but the Preds played like they wanted it. The injuries are starting to mount up and I hope they have enough gas in the tank for another round.

On the other end, I wouldn't have bet on the Penguins winning the last game with someone else's money, but they pulled a rabbit out of their hat. I'm not going to write Pittsburgh off yet, but I don't think the odds are in their favor.

I wonder how hard it's going to be to get Preds tickets next season. . .

Pittsburgh it is. I was in Montreal this week and the support Nashville has up there right now is unbelievable. It's mainly because of PK but they're not fans of the Pens either.

Game 1 ended up being a bit of a disappointment, but the Preds sure did play well. If anyone thought the Pens were going to just skate away with the Cup this year, I think they've been thoroughly disabused of that notion.

Win or lose, it should be one hell of a series.

I think they played like shit the 1st period. The no goal call was BS and IMO from what I saw on the SUHD 80" megatron, against league rules. PK has a huge fan base but has a lot of enemies within the league and that call from Toronto shows it. 3rd period was great right up until that 4th goal Pekka and Ellis gave them.
I agree that it's been a hell of a series and will be a hell of a final round. I think tonight will be a better game for us, especially in the 1st.

Fluery choking in the Finals again and Murray will ride it out to win the Cup. Murray is a great goalie and with some more experience, this kid is going places.
