Is everyone getting used to the sound of those words?
The D's are gonna have way more people voting AND they will be cheating to boot. Texas is doomed. |

Well, I certainly hope you are wrong, but it is of course possible. Last I heard from the polls she was still behind by a significant amount, but the polls aren't always right. |

I keep telling myself she is not gonna win. However, it scares and confuses me that she has as much traction as she does. IMO, she should be in the low single digits. Heck, I'm so worried I might, just maybe, vote for the Republican. And I really really hate this fact. |

A staunch liberal at work who claims he voted for Obama twice is up in arms about her supporting a State Income Tax. He is very vocal about voting for Abbott or Third Party. Many of our non-voting conservative friends have already voted during early for Abbott becuase of Abortion etc. I think the though of the she devil as Governor has motivated many more religous base folks than we think. |

A party that "loves rights" so long as it fits their there agenda. One of the best laughs I ever had was when a gay guy at work who talks non-stop about how hard the struggle for his basic rights is told me I have no need or right to own guns in the present day. I digress. Wendy will fall far short the title "Governor". |

We survived. yeah,,,when the KLAN owned the party in Texas and ran most of the state with the rest of the DixieCrats of the South..and Bouffant Betty (our last Dem Gov) was not a friend of Texans..ever.
San Antonio is doomed to become a communist core of our particular apple... |

last I heard was 12 point lead by Abbot..scary it's that close in todays world
I will say if this Gold digging, child abandoning, tax loving, Lives to see the thumb of the Gov on your throat, baby killer wins. we no longer own the polls, they've poisioned the water and voting R is lost..just like the machines that flipped votes in Chicago and Indiana(so far) and the Arizona Dim stuffing paper ballots in that type of machine.... |

San Antonio is doomed to become a communist core of our particular apple... Dixiecrats didn't carry a single Texas county, much less run the state. Matter of fact they only carried four states in their one shot at glory. |

It must be confusing as all hell to be Gun loving liberal. A party that "loves rights" so long as it fits their there agenda. Because there's absolutely no way the Republican Party would ever restrict your rights, right? Oh...wait a minute... Might do some research into freedom and stop thinking the beloved GOP gives a damn about your rights. Some of us are libertarian (small "L") stuck in a two party system where we have to pick the lesser of two evils - like Abbott. Republicans and democrats are two sides to a coin...they're all millionaires and not a one gives a damn about you. |

I will agree about them being two sides of the same coin but the fact some are millionaires is not something that is bad in and of itself. Unless those gains are ill gotten via their positions in the govt. And Republicans have done far more than Democrats to infringe on our gun rights and that is indisputable. 1986 gave way to machine guns, of the type covered by the 2nd, being pushed out of common use AND now common use is what is used to define if you are allowed to possess a particular type of firearm. All the while supposedly representing constituents that are pro gun. At least D's don't lie to those that are voting for them. |

That may be the funniest thing I have ever read....... Seriously? What I am saying is that D politicians tell their constituents their plans and generally work diligently to excel at those plans. R politicians say one thing and then half-assed work toward about 20% of their stated goals. That's what I've been observing for the past several decades. Tell me where I'm wrong. |

I love that idiot Wendy Davis's latest desperate attack on Abbott... Trying to say he is against interracial marriage...
Apparently she's too stupid to know Greg Abbott is married to a HISPANIC lady, who is GOING to be the first Latina Lady of Texas ![]() FYI "Hispanic" is an ethnicity, not a race. Do you even 4473 bro? |
|
Davis is finished, and is just running now for a paid spot on MSDNC, where she'll be watched by even fewer people than voted for her.
The only question left, is will she do even worse than Bill White did in 2010. If so, what a pitiful performance, after pissing away millions in out of state money, and truck loads of money from in state trial lawywers. The best aspect of the upcoming election is the election to LT Gov of Dan Patrick. He's not a canidate that should run for national level office, due to his background, but he will run the Sentate as if R's hold 60-70 percent of the seats, which they do, instead of what's his name current LT Gov, who runs it like a good ole boys club. Dems actually hold commite chairs and can hold up votes such as for gun rights, which is ridiculous. |

Voting for Abbott is the only vote against her. Voting for silly libertarians is a vote against both. Voting third party will help Davis get elected by hurting Abbotts vote count. |

I'll go voting today. I hope Abbott annihilate her to the point that she has no choice but crawl under a rock and stay hidden forever. Beat her by 22 points overall. Beat her amongst women by 9 points. After the much vaunted efforts of Battleground Texas to "turn Texas blue" they failed in just about every major demographic of their voting bloc to deliver better numbers than no money at all and suffered what might be the worst monkey stomping of the Democratic party in Texas history. |
