So at the end of this month and majority of Sept. I will begin the long and tired hours of filling out applications. Thought I would post the top 5 Schools i am applying for in all areas. Just wondering what you guys thought and if you had any suggestions.

Medical
- U of A
- Boston Univ.
- North Dakota State
- Washington State
- Utah State Univ

MS in Genetics or Biochem
- ASU
- U of A
- Colorado State
- WY Univ
- Texas Tech

Wildlife Conv./Biology
- NAU
- ASU
- U of A
- Colorado State
- Not sure what others maybe WY State

What ya guys think? I am taking my MCAT in Sept and GRE in the first part of Sept. Anyone know any other good schools I might have passed over possibly? I am always opened to hearing about other places. I had a list of 25 schools and got it down to around 12-15.

If I do not get into any of those, I am bouncing between a MS in Medical Admissions or the Navy..... I am probably going to do the Navy if this occurs.

I would take Boston University out as well.  Good school, but about as bad as CA.

U of MN has a decent med school program from what I have heard being from MN.  Gun laws aren't too bad.  No suppressors.
Did not know NDSU did.

Out of all of those schools - I would stay here.
You could look at Osteopathic medicine, pretty much the same as an MD just coming from a different background.  AT Still University has their AZ campus right here in Mesa.

Good Luck!  I am a year from finishing PT school.

If I were you, I'd decide what program I really want to do and apply mainly to those programs, with just enough applications to different programs that you can do something else if you don't go in.

As you know, my original plan was to apply to both economics doctoral programs and law schools. I dumped the law school thing after getting a low LSAT score and impeccable letters of recommendation for the phd programs.

I only applied to six. If I had to do it over again, I would have applied to 10. I got into two out of of the three medium ranked schools applied for. I did not get into the lowest or highest ranked schools

I applied to NCSU, Iowa State, University of Virginia, UC Davis, Wyoming and Arizona.

ETA: Don't let firearms get in the way of a good education.

Got ya! Yeah I was wrong! Meant U of U and U of Washington!

I really enjoy science, but I am conflicted between medicine and bio. I would be happy I think being a doctor, with the ability to help people while getting paid good money. But I also would enjoy working for a game and fish department running research programs, but lack of money is there, but still be happy I think.

Most likely will go where ever accepts me! Like I said, I have a ton of schools on my list. There is also a ton of stuff I need to do before getting into these programs. Sadly, ha

Remember application fees are generally around 100 a piece. It's going to cost 600 to 1000 to apply to ten schools depending on how obscene the application fee is.

Yeah, I have about $900 total saved for application fees
