I have never seen one South of Atlanta. I see more and more of them in Cobb and Paulding.

Okay, I gotta ask why.
On two things.
Why do you wonder if they do?
Why wouldn't they live... farther South?

Thanks!

Just thinking I would like to find a few farmers that needs some of the bugers irradicated on my time. I used to hunt them in Indiana but I just don't know how far south they get (which means how far north I have to drive).

And it probably has something to do with soil conditions and temperatures. The sandy soils in Florida are not suitable for burrows.

Where I am in the mtns of NW GA there is not really a huntable population, there are not enough of them to really be of a nuisance to farmers.

No but good luck with that.

They used to go for the soybean fields big time around where I used to live.
