I am a regular vendor at these shows. I got a call last night from the show's organizer. He told me that due to some additional restrictions the VBC has decided to put on the vendors it was no longer feasible to have the show. He was calling from a long list of vendors he had to contact and didn't have time to completely explain. I don't want to speculate but at the last Cullman show he told us that the VBC no longer allowed ammo sales. I am not surprised at this. It seems the admin at the VBC is anti-gun. |

IIRC, there was a considerable amount of time where the VBC wouldn't allow gun shows, at all, due to an ND years ago, and, when they finally started allowing them again, there was a prohibition against ammo sales at the first one or two shows. It definitely seems VBC wants the money from renting the space, but they really want to control what is and isn't sold as much as possible. |
