| Just to let everyone know, there is a gun auction on Oct 10, at the Las Vegas Auction on Nellis Blvd. the auctions usually start at 0900 on Saturday. You can physically inspect the guns on 9 Oct. at 0900. Check the website for details. www.lvauction.com |
| I go to the bi-weekly auctions. The deals are pretty good. It all depends who is there and which item they want. If you want an example, the auction is open today for the auction tomorrow. There are a few items I may buy. You can inspect today and tomorrow. The inspection on Saturday starts at 0800ish. |

Last big gun auction I went to I didn't see any good deal. People were getting into bidding wars and the prices were more than what I wanted to pay. I've seen several Mosin Nagant M44 went for $150.00. Remember you still have to pay the sales tax on it and the 10% auction fee on top of the final sales price.
I didn't buy anything, but still fun to go and look around. They have lots and lots of guns you can inspect. I'm planning on going to this one. |

I began using a theory....
If I buy one, I should buy two. I am already paying the background fee. I would have bought a few more. The luger and a couple of 1911s were good deals. The remington US property marked was a steal also. I set a firearm cost limit which kept me from bidding. I should have just bought the ones I knew were a real steal. Instead, I bought a few of the cheaper ones! |
