Gun Safe > Arizona

The new guy got all his hardware, now he needs a decent safe. And maybe a good mental health professional for referring to myself in the 3rd person.

I'm looking for new or used, prefer fire-rated.

Any ideas?

I just got this www.stack-on.com/securityplus/gun_safes/gs-316.html for 389.00.

Its nice cause its not 700lbs and 1600 bucks but looks like it....

I'm ready to buy a safe. Are there any decent local shops with reasonable prices?

Dont know what shops are by you locally, but a friend of mine asked me a similar question about safes. I rember hearing about a company in Rockford, IL that sells safes in pieces. The buyer assembles the safe and is good to go. I will probably go this route. My retailer out here will give me a good deal on a safe, but then I need to hire a mover to get in into my house.

Believe it or not, Home Depot had some gun safes last week. They were not too big and I think they were fire lined for around $300.? They didn't look bad. I forget who made themGeorge

Which HD? I'm closest to Crismon.

I've seen them at Power and McKellips, Broadway and Val Vista and Alma Shcool and Chandler Blvd. Give the one near you a call. I'm sure it's a chain wide buy, sort of like Costco does.

Thanks AZ_G_N, I bought the 30" Yukon Gold at Sportsmans Warehouse for $649. I'm pretty happy with it. Although, it looked so big in the store and so small after I loaded all the hardware in it.
