I'm from Georgia, can I buy a long gun in TN?

Thanks

I think so.

I know a TN resident can buy a long gun in
Kentucky.

Yes.  The transaction must go through a licensee (FFL) and the long gun must be legal in both states.

A resident from one state may buy a long gun in another state from an FFL dealer but not from an individual unless it goes through an FFL dealer.

The firearm must be legal to own in the home state of the purchaser too.

Keep in mind that a pistol grip shotgun is not considered a "long gun" nor is an AR lower receiver by the ATF.

I am a Kentucky resident and have bought a few long guns from gun shops in TN with no problems at all.

Be aware that Tennessee dealers have to run a state background check and charge a $10 fee for it.
