I've been looking for a plastic tool box that is similar a tackle box.

Similar to  the Plano phantum pro which is no longer in production.  I need something large with ample top storage and at least 3 drawers that load out the front.  There really is only one in production which meets my needs but it is too small.

I need it as an armorers box which will house tools and cleaning supplies.

Any suggestions?  Mobility is key.  A metal toolbox really isn't an option.

Over the years I kept upgrading to larger and larger boxes as I acquired/needed more and more kit to service and clean the myriad of weapons I train with.

Eventually I ended up with the Plano Pro tool box and have been using it for over 10 years. I like it enough that when I broke my first one, I looked around for a box to replace it, couldn't find anything better and bought a second identical box.

I bought those clear plastic, compartmentalized latching trays and have 4 of those in 2 different sizes in the bottom section.

You can buy them at Home Depot.

Well it all depends on how many tools and how many small parts. They make a nylon carrying bag that holds 4 parts trays and then you could use a separate tool box.

Of you could go with Four Draw Tool Box

Or a Two Draw Tool Box

Or go all out with a Wheeled stacked Tool Box and Organizer

And then there is just crazy With Plenty of Space

As they say at the Greasy V, "What'll ya have?"

I am currently using THIS to house all my tune-up and spare parts and the tools that I carry that don't go in my Armorer's Bag (so I am carrying it with one hand and Armorer's Bag with the other).
