I have a feeling I already know the answer to this, but lets see what the consensus is:
If you have a Concealed Carry, can you store a pistol in a location other than your address? For example, you have an apartment and spend weekends with an S/O at their home. Could you keep a pistol in a locked container at the S/O's residence during the week when you aren't there.

What county do you have your license in?

My feeling ( no legal precedent here) if the gun is in a locked container unloaded at an address other than yours it should not be an issue. It would be no efferent than renting a storage locker and having a safe in it. Or having your pistol in a lock box in a hotel room while traveling. Key is that it is locked up. ( and only you and not occupants of the home in your absence have the key)
While many jurisdictions may have policies ( like the letter that came with my first permit over 30
Years ago now) regarding storage transport etc etc. I do not believe penal law spells anything out.

Your interest is going to be less in what is legal and more in what your issuing authority wants.  Without knowing the county it's impossible to give you any relevant information.

County is Monroe.
I would probably keep the pistol unloaded but with a mag in the case. The box I was looking at was a combination not a key, not sure how to stop my gf from "accidentally" seeing me unlock it and see the number. Not that I'm really interested in having a purple Ruger LCP 9mm, I'm getting an XD9sc for myself.

Ok, I can't speak for that county, but some may draw a distinction between your property/lease vs. someone else and exclusive access would also be important.  I was ok keeping some things at an apartment out of state (at school) in one of the more restrictive counties, but each will be different.
