Acouple of months ago someone posted a topic on the forum who had a 7.62x39 Olympic Arms AR(can't remember who ??) and I said I would post the article from Guns review about the rifle from 1993. Anyway, I completeley forgot about it until today when I came across the Magazine.

Problem - My scanner is abit fooked, I have tried to copy it and it is unreadable, so if anyone is interested in the article you are welcome to borrow the copy or can anyone else host it, maybe Mark through you website or something. If anyone can I will gladley post the mag to you so long as I get it back.

It is a very interesting read, 5 full pages from July '93 as I said it is of the 7.62x39 variant. It was this article that inspired me to by a straight pull AR, infact an Olympic Arms as featured after loosing my L1A1 and a 223 Valmet in 88'. I only had them both a few months

Also there are not many guns reviews I dont have (I have several hundread) so if there is any article you remember that you may want to see again let me know, I may be able to help.

Good one
Thanks for that.
I have to wonder though, what ever possessed Conjay to ever import those in 7.62x39?

I got my Olympic Arms in 96' via Conjay (through York Guns) and I enquired about a 7.62x39 version and at the time they had sold out, I got one of the first 'factory' side cockers in 223 instead, glad I did now aswell

Best I can do for now as my camera is at my Dads mark, so I cut this from a piccy I already have. Post somemore tommorow, this is how Olympic did them for Conjay, I still own mine and wouldn't part with it

I think you get the idea

Yeah, your right there Steven, UKGuy bought it off me about a year ago now.

It was a solid gun, in very good condition. He almost wet himself when he saw it lol!

Don't know how much he has shot it though?
