Anyone know of a gunsmith that can straighten the front sight on a Yugo M92? Just my damn luck. This is the 2nd Century weapon I've bought with a canted front sight. In the Macon area would be best, but I can drive further if I need to. |

Not an exceedingly difficult job....
I'm kicking myself because I can't remember the machinists in Macon that posts in the GAHTF forum on occasion but I'm sure someone will chime in with his contact info. BTW: Have told y'all how much I hate Century Arms.....???? Their products are shit, their so called customer service is shit and their quality control is lower than whale shit. td |

I'm worried about trying it myself, since I have no experience working on an AK. I can get it zeroed, but just barely. The post is as far to the left as you can get it. And yes, Century pisses me off too. I thought this one would be ok since Century doesn't actually assemble them. The other one I had a problem with was a VZ2008. It had the same problem. I could get it zeroed, but only just. I thought it might be me, but let other folks shoot it. |

Century has nothing to do with it. If you look at aks from around the world the fsb is generally not on straight. Straight is the exception. It's like they eyeball it.
I have hungys, bulgys, polish, romy, and Russian. They all have quirks. They are mostly within a degree or two. I had one sar-2 that must have been 5 degrees off and the sight couldn't be drifted far enough. |

| If you want to drive to Newnan and buy the beer I'll fix it. I've built dozens of AK's and fixed everything you can imagine. I have a well equipped little gun shop and just happen to be laid off from my real job so I've got the time. Send me a PM if your interested. |

Don't have a lot of AK experience....I hate 'em ...LOL...guess it was too many years looking at 'em across the inter German border....LOL
But I'll be happy to give it a peek and see what is required.....Is the front sight seperate from the gas block on this beastie? All the pics I look at aren't clear....but if I can build a gun form stock metal and a barrel blank...I'm guessin I can make an adjustment on an AK shoot me an [email protected]. |

If I just had to drift it a little it wouldn't bother me. This is as far to the left as I can get it. My main reason for wanting it fixed is that it makes it difficult for me to find the front sight quickly. The hood makes me immediately try to put the middle of the hood in the rear sight, but that puts you way off even at 25 yards. I could probably shoot it enough to get used to it, but I'd prefer to just have it close to right. Quoted: Century has nothing to do with it.
