I have recently bought a Sig P229 (Factory Refurbished) in 40 cal. The darn thing shoots low and right with the trijicon night sights it came with. I fear tapping them myself into place, and watching the pricey radioactive parts fall on the table. Is it wishful thinking to believe that Sig will align the sights under the warranty? Or do I need to find a gunsmith to do it for me?

one of two things, is this your first sig, second which county? if in or near lee co. let me know and ill hook you up.. now back to the first thing, some new or new to the "gun" shooters do this, ok lets run with this are you right handed. if so you could have too much finger in the trigger and pushing. the results are ...  off target. right or left,    pushing = shooting low. i see this every day at work. next time at the range trigger on the pad of the finger not the joint, also slowly pull the trigger, let it be a suprise when it goes off , that doesn't mean going limp but it eliminates the pushing... ok thats enough babbling for me without enough sleep , i hope this makes some sence and sorry for the gramatikall and spelling errors
