I just bought every (4) 150 value pack of  55gr .223 that was at Dicks Sporting goods in Novi for $24.99

HAHAHAHAHA

Call your local Dicks, the guy said they are store wide. If they dont have the 150 round packs, they will sell the smaller boxes at the 150 round price.

This is enough to make me want to drive to Toledo. What's the catch?

If I remember this story correctly, this was a sale misprint that they are honoring?

For the stuff I do with my AR15, shooting holes in paper and plinking stuff, I am sure this stuff will be fine.

For the stuff you do with your AR15, I am sure it is not good enough.

In fact, I'll be in Westland today, may swing into the Dicks there and get some more. Even not at the sale price, it is about the same/ cheaper than some of the current non-Wolf pricing.

A local wanted to charge $300.00 for 1k Winchester 55gr.

A lot of Out of Stock stuff here. The rest are if'y on the customer svc. So is this really that bad?

eta, funny i was in there the othr day and i needed some decent ammo for a match (only 200m) asked if they had any 168gr. fed gold metal, the guy looked at me like i asked him to explain nonlinear dynamics, then he was astounded when i asked for, oh my gosh, more than 1 box. anyway, all they had was some winchester 168 gr, hunting bull shit, and only 1 box of it.

Ziti, thanks for the info. Hope business has picked up for you.

But if I get to a Dicks and there is no .223 left, then screw you.

Thanks, C.M.

Spring is here/summer, it'll pick up. I am spending so much $$ in marketing, it will come back to me...I hope

I got 6 mags of this stuff loaded. I will be at LGC at 9am getting rid of them...We'll see how they turn out.

The Taylor store would not sell Ultramax any at the reduced price. I did get some other calibers at a decent price. Oh, well win some lose some. Thanks for the heads up.

Well...the pile is gone.....had to be close to 3000 rounds of 8mm...might actually be over, have to count the belts tomorrow.
And the 500+ rounds of .50BMG I loaded yesterday is history too..

The pit is really no that bad.....in fact there wasn't much to shoot at.
Lots of little stuff like wood splinters and small bits of plastic but not a single propane tank and nothing metal of any significance. Might be able to fill a dumpster with garbage bags of small bits but noting like the last few years with tons of metal.
All-in-all it looked pretty good.....and was a great day to be outside shooting.

Dammit!! You should have shot me an IM or something. I was out that way today. I could have brought you the FA 1919 trigger and sear I said I'd give you. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Hopefully my house gets finished soon. I'll be living about 5 miles or less from there and we can all party at my house after the shoots!!.

My turn to brag, I stopped at Gander Mountain to pick up a few things and found the ammo shelf looking well stocked for once. I walked up and noticed all the .223 ammo was on the shelf rather than behind the counter. It was it's normal high price but I kept digging and was rewarded with ten 20 round boxes of 55 grain wolf ammo. How much? $2.49  a box. grabbed it all and asked if they had more and was told no, it was inventory and they would not order anything until after inventory. The salesman said " You sure it's marked right, I've never seen it that cheap before." Naturally I told him the price was just fine and checked out.  HA, HA, HA, Dicks Sporting Goods, I feel vindicated..

Mine, all mine....

Okay, I'll calm down now.....

If there is a store near you check it out.

I guess I have some cigars to share with some folks if I get to the pit.

A couple months ago I was at Cabellas and picked up a 1000 rnd case of Wolf. After leaving the check out I thought the price seemed awfull cheap. Checking my receipt, I saw they only charged me $89 for the ammo.

I immediately went back and grabbed another case and had the guy at the counter check the price. It was like $129 if I remember right. I showed him my receipt and he stated that the skew number was different. So I went and found a case with the same skew number and had him check it. Before it was over there were 3 employees looking over my receipt and they decided that the skew number was indeed $89 a case. I ended up with 2K rounds of wolf 55 grain for about $179. I was really not happy that I didn't have more money on me. Guess I should have broke out Mr. Visa.
