I wanted to make a new topic for this, as suggested by kylestyle. In order to come up with some ideas for a new HTF shirt, I wanted everyone to brainstorm and post ideas, pics, whatever you could come up with.
After we beat this into the ground for a few days I can come up with a couple of preliminary designs and see how everyone likes them. We'll also take suggestions on who could do the actual shirts. Goatboy said a HTF shirt project went south recently, so I want to make sure everyone's comfortable with everything. so far, I understand that a lot of people didn't like the Skull, and some are anti-"dot com" blatantly tossed on it. What else didn't everyone like about it? How can it be improved? Do we want a back-only design? Front only? Back design with a logo on front? Front design with a small splash on the back? Anything on the sleeves? Should we put it on a mesh tank top?

here's a nice timekiller, and a cool tool for the project:

We'll take 6 of those... one for me, The Monk, and the six four little monks.
ETA: I haven't slept. I am delusional. I was once blond. Take your pick. |

To guard against this going south during ordering/printing, I'm looking into using Cafe Press, which will pretty much put any graphics/logo on just about anything. This way if we like the logo enough it can go on coffee mugs, jerseys, bumper stickers, etc.
Figured I'd link to a "hot item" on that site. |

you know aimless or one of the others is about to come and kill all of us in our sleep for trademark infringement... I traded PMs w/goatboy, and he said we needed to assess interest and come up with a few designs before they could approve anything. 1. Design HTF logo 2. Toss ever-popular ARFCOM logo on it 3. ??????? 4. PROFIT!!!!!
That's why I thought about cafepress.com first, because that way everything is made-to-order, and no one puts up money. |

I would suggest main logo on back, small logo on front left chest. Personally, I don't wear many/any full front logo shirts. To me they are reminiscent of a cheesy vacation shirt. YMMV.
As far as logo design ... I am not creative so I don't have much to offer in that respect. However, I am in the camp of nothing too gory or graphic. I thought the last shirt with the skull design was very cool. I ordered 3. My wife doesn't get too excited about me wearing them out in public though. She is also afraid they will scare our little one. |

One night while I was working at the table she put little smilie face stickers on the skull's teeth and ears. "Look! He's pretty now!" I like the idea of the GA State outline. I'm probably going to start on this tonight and come up with some sketches. (sure wish this forum had multi-quote) |
| What about a black shirt with a white m-16 A2 zero target covering the front. The black grid lines with the small humanoid target on the chest. Instead of the circle in the center it could be a bolt face logo. Add some GA text where the instructions on zeroing are at the bottom. |

HMMMMMMMMMM, Not so sure I'd want to wear a target on my chest....... Kinda reminds me of that old Far Side cartoon, "Bummer of a birthmark Hal."
(Sorry, no pic goodness) ETA: Linky |

I wish I hadn't misse the original skull shirt. I need to hang out in HT forum more often |

| On vacation at the moment but would love to help out on the design. Cafe press is a big rip. I say use someone local possibly. Frank heads to basic next week so he cannot do it. I get back sunday and would like to help out if needed in the design process. Just let me know if you all need me. |

what about a .223 shell with GA HTF AR15.com written across the brass over the left breast in life size? With this text as the headstamp? That would rule! Back design with a logo on front, with the front logo centered. OR, how about a departure from the standard t-shirt? Maybe something that buttons up, like a bowling shirt with a logo on the back? |
