Anyone know what happened to that ham radio thread that was in here within the past few months?    Searched and couldn't find it.  I'm a tech now  and was wondering if we had any arfcommers on the radio in the OKC area?

Congrats on your Tech license.

Just sold 90% of my ham radio equipment off last month.

Is the Air Force really so desperate that you guys are resorting to Ham radios for communications now?

There are a ton of arfcommers in the ham radio forum, plus a lot of hams in the OKC area. A_Free_Man is an extra class.

The ham radio scene in Tulsa and OKC are like night and day. I don't know what the deal is with the Tulsa metro. It wouldn't take much to get me to move the heck out of here.

These hams in Tulsa can barely keep a 2m repeater on the air let alone do anything digital.
